The FM8700 panic bar from Sargent is the only 2-point latching emergency exit device that complies with FEMA 361. It requires no complicated or expensive door prep. Specially machined rail and internal components make the FM8700 sturdier and more robust than standard products.

To supplement the listing to the FEMA 361 Tornado standard, the completion of UL testing expanded the application of the FM8700 for use on single fire-rated doors. This is the only 2-point exit device in the industry to meet the FEMA 361 requirements!
