The Norton 8000 series door closer is their slimline design hydraulic door closer engineered to provide grade 1 endurance and reliability while maintaining a narrow profile. The footprint or mounting holes for this door closer is 12 inches horizontal center to center and 3/4" vertical center to center. It will easily fit on door frames as narrow as 1 _ inch It is available with two covers The 8301 is the narrow style cover with the pinion exposed. The 8501 is the wider style cover its covers the pinions with a cover height of 3 1/8" This hydraulic door closer is available in the universal pack can be mounted regular arm, parallel arm or top jamb Available in the following four colors Aluminum Duronodic Dull bronze Dull brass This is a fully adjustable closer for spring sizes 2 to 6 Three valves for adjusting the control of back check, sweep and latch speed. If you are allowed to use an alternate brand consider the Cal Royal CR 801 door closer.
