 This particular panic bar by Sargent is designed to comply with the high standards of the hurricane codes in place. It meets the abuse and high wind loads required by South Florida building code, where hurricanes strike often.

- Withstands over 5 times ANSI/BHMA A156.3 2001 grade 1 standards for static load test simulating forced entry
- Designed for standard width stile applications on metal doors. For
doors 1-3/4" (44mm thick)
- Single door applications - WS8800 Series
- Single and double door applications - HC8800 Series
- Solid stainless steel latchbolt. Meets UL panic test requirements
without roller strikes which compromise strengh and durability
- Withstands over 5 times ANSI/BHMA A156.3 2001 grade 1 standards
for static load test simulating forced entry
- UL Fire and Panic listed
- UL listed to ANSI 250.13 Severe Windstorm and listed on Florida
